Inner Circle Privacy Policy

Overview

Inner Circle: Personal Network is a private relationship organizer for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It is designed to keep your personal information on your devices and, when available, in your private Apple iCloud account. GateCity CodeWorks, LLC does not operate a server that receives your Inner Circle records, does not sell personal information, and does not use your information for advertising or tracking.

Information You Add

Inner Circle may store information you choose to enter, including:

• Your profile name, nickname, and photo.
• Names, nicknames, contact details, social links, relationship groups, family information, birthdays, important dates, tags, colors, and notes for people in your circle.
• Interaction history, dates, communication methods, outcomes, participants, notes, and attachments.
• Connection goals, reach-out rhythms, reminders, saved searches, and app preferences.
• Backup or import files you choose to create or select.

This information remains under your control and is used only to provide the app's features.

Contacts

Access to Apple Contacts is optional. With your permission, Inner Circle can import information from contacts you select. If you enable contact suggestions, the app may check for contact changes on your device to offer relevant suggestions.

Inner Circle can add or update an Apple Contacts entry only after you explicitly approve that action. It does not delete entries from Apple Contacts. You can change Contacts access at any time in system settings.

Photos, Camera, Attachments, and Files

You may select a profile photo or attachment from your photo library or files, or take a photo using the camera. Inner Circle receives only the items you select or create for the app. These items may become part of your Inner Circle data and may sync through your private iCloud account.

iCloud Synchronization

When iCloud is available, Inner Circle uses Apple CloudKit to synchronize app data among your iPhone, iPad, and Mac signed in to the same Apple Account. The synchronized records are stored in your private iCloud database operated by Apple. GateCity CodeWorks does not have access to that private database.

Inner Circle uses Apple's remote notifications to learn when private iCloud data has changed and refresh the app. These notifications do not contain advertising or tracking content.

Notifications

If you grant notification permission, Inner Circle can schedule local reminders for connection goals, important dates, and reach-out rhythms. Reminder content is generated on your device. You can disable notifications in system settings.

Share Extension

The Inner Circle share extension lets you send selected text, links, images, or documents from another app into Inner Circle. Shared content is staged temporarily in the app's private shared container so that you can review and save it. Inner Circle does not continuously monitor the source app.

Purchases

Full Unlock is a non-consumable purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. GateCity CodeWorks does not receive your payment-card details. Apple provides the app with transaction and entitlement information needed to unlock purchased features.

Collection, Tracking, and Sharing

GateCity CodeWorks does not receive your Inner Circle records through a developer-operated service. Inner Circle contains no third-party advertising SDK, cross-app tracking technology, or third-party analytics SDK.

Apple may process App Store transactions, iCloud data, diagnostics, crash information, and service metadata according to Apple's privacy policies and your Apple settings.

If you contact GateCity CodeWorks for support, the information you voluntarily provide is handled under the GateCity CodeWorks company privacy policy. Do not send an Inner Circle backup unless it is necessary for support and you are comfortable sharing its contents.

Exports

Inner Circle can create backup and CSV files at your request. Backup files may contain personal details, photos, notes, and attachments and are not password-protected. You choose where exported files are saved or shared. Once shared with another person, application, or service, that recipient's privacy practices apply.

Retention and Deletion

Inner Circle retains records until you delete them. Deletions synchronize to your other devices through iCloud when synchronization is available.

Deleting Inner Circle from one device does not by itself delete data stored in iCloud or on another device. Delete unwanted records from the app on a synchronized device before removing the app. Apple-managed backups may retain copies according to Apple's backup and retention policies. Exported files remain wherever you chose to save them.

GateCity CodeWorks does not retain a server-side copy of your Inner Circle database because the company does not receive it.

Your Choices

You can:

• Decline or revoke Contacts, Camera, Photos, Files, and Notification permissions in system settings.
• Leave contact suggestions disabled.
• Delete individual Inner Circle records.
• Export a backup of your data.
• Stop iCloud synchronization through your Apple Account and iCloud settings.

Inner Circle does not create a GateCity CodeWorks account, so there is no separate developer account to delete.

Children

Inner Circle is not directed to children under 13, and GateCity CodeWorks does not knowingly collect children's personal information through the app.

Changes and Contact

This policy may be updated when Inner Circle's features or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when changes are published.
