Scope

This policy explains how GateCity CodeWorks, LLC handles information submitted through gatecitycodeworks.com, including support, contact, feature-request, and project-inquiry forms. Information created inside a GateCity application is governed by that application's separate privacy policy, listed below.

We do not sell personal information, use it for cross-site advertising, or use website submissions to build advertising profiles.

Information You Submit

When you contact us or submit a form, we receive the information you choose to provide. Depending on the form, this may include your first and last name, email address, phone number, company, application or version, project type, message, issue description, feature request, and files you attach.

Submitting this information is voluntary. Please avoid including sensitive personal information, health information, journal content, passwords, or other confidential data unless it is necessary for us to address your request.

How We Use Submitted Information

We use submitted information only as reasonably necessary to:

• Respond to support requests, questions, and administrative inquiries.
• Investigate reported issues and improve our products and services.
• Evaluate feature requests, project inquiries, and potential business relationships.
• Protect the security, integrity, and lawful operation of our website and services.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations and establish or defend legal claims.

Service Providers

Website forms are processed through our Cloudflare-hosted website. Submission records are stored in Google Sheets, and uploaded files may be stored in Google Drive. Cloudflare and Google process information for us under their own service terms and privacy commitments.

We do not authorize these providers to use submitted information for their own advertising. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business reorganization where the recipient must continue to protect it.

Website Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic and performance. It may report measurements such as visits, page views, referrer, country, device type, browser, operating system, page-load timing, and Core Web Vitals. We do not use this service for cross-site tracking or advertising, and Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not collect or use visitors' personal data.

Retention and Deletion

We generally retain support and other website submissions while the request is active and for two years after it is resolved. We may keep specific records longer when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or establishing or defending legal claims.

You may ask us to delete information you submitted by emailing support@gatecitycodeworks.com. Please identify the request or submission. We will delete information we control unless retention is required or permitted for a continuing legal, security, or operational need.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to limit access to submitted information. No storage or transmission method is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices

You can choose not to submit a website form and contact us by email instead. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you previously submitted by contacting us. Because our applications do not use proprietary user accounts, app-content controls and deletion options are described in each application's policy.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our website or practices change. The revised policy will show a new effective date.
